Parish celebrates mothers

Bishop Daniel Turley, O.S.A., was the main celebrant and homilist at the 11th annual Mother’s Day Mass in Spanish at St. Joseph Parish at St. Oscar Romero Parish, 4821 S. Hermitage Ave., on May 12, 2024. The bishop gave a special blessing to all mothers including expectant mothers and their unborn children. Expectant mothers also received a rose, as well as a prayer card and medal of St. Gerard, the patron saint of expectant mothers.
