Parishioners at St. William Parish, 2600 N. Sayre Ave., celebrated the 115th anniversary of a novena to St. Rocco Aug. 19, 2018. The money collected is donated to parish ministries and other charities. The event is sponsored by the Society of St. Rocco di Potenza. The society was founded at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish by Paul Carelli after he prayed to the saint to heal his 5-year-old daughter from illness.
